The city is home to the award-winning Goodyear Ballpark, spring training and player development home of the Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Indians. This state-of-the-art baseball complex includes 8,000 stadium seats, 1,500 lawn seats, six luxury suites, terrace seating on the third level behind home plate, and 500 seats in the right field pavilion. A variety of events are held at the ballpark throughout the year as well.
Shopping also is abundant in Goodyear with everything from upscale boutiques to shopping centers. Even more so, Goodyear will be home to the future Estrella Falls Mall, the largest indoor-shopping mall in the southwest valley with more than 1.1 million square feet of specialty shops, high-end retailers and dining. The first phase is continuing to move forward with a 78,000-square foot, 16-screen multiplex that is expected to open in the summer of 2016.
